Security Solution at IFSEC2019
Last month our team visited once again at the leading international security exhibition, IFSEC.
IFSEC International is one of the most important events for HLS and Security, took a place from June 18-21 in London.
IFSEC 2019 presents the new technologies and standards for the HLS and Defense segments, and marks the future in the different Security oriented segments. The Exhibition connects thousands of professionals with technologies and ideas that shape the security industry.
IFSEC visitors were able to learn first-hand on different innovative topics, such as access control, different biometrics technologies, the new generation of video surveillance, IP security in general and last but not least, new and exciting solutions based on Deep Learning & Artificial Intelligence (AI).
One of the most exciting technologies that stood out of the rest, in the Biometrics segment, was the the Cortica solution. Cortica Face Recognition extra-ordinary solution is based upon proprietary brain research and the AI platform is modeled on neuron activity and learning mechanisms occurring in the mammal brain.We do see great potential for Cortica innovative Face Recognition technology in our projects, and we already engaged with the company in different PoCs strategic projects.
An impressive solution of video understanding technology which is based on a unique deep neural networks implementation, is presented by Viisights. These deep neural networks are capable of analyzing and deducting high level concepts derived from video content. We are seriously looking into a long term cooperation with Viidights, and to upscale our solutions at the facilities we have installed using new Viisights video analytics.
Our legacy and yearlong partner, FLIR, the market leader for perception and awareness technology, presented The Cameleon™, the Tactical advanced camera control system. Cameleon™ Tactical seamlessly integrates cameras, monitors, switchers, DVRs and host of 3rd Party devices, provides a highly-customizable, user-friendly environment for security and surveillance applications. Intuitive, configurable interface provides drag-and-drop external display and monitor wall access.
Our UK partner, Rinicom, presented its Anti-Drone system, the SkyPatriot, a nearly warning optical drone detection system, which is developend in cooperation with Singapore’s ST Engineering. SkyPatriot uses powerful AI video analytic algorithms to accurately distinguish between drones and other objects such as birds, clouds, and even tree branches moving in the wind. This classification process for non-drone objects take less than a second substantially reducing false alarms.
Thinking Space Systems presented very interesting products, company’ latest developments for consoles, media walls and accessories for security management and control rooms.
Definitely, this year the event attracted many visitors and exhibitors and leading experts from around the world.
